Phi Stars: Antonio Corradini Venetian Rococo Sculptor 1668 – 1752

What does this chair share in common with the lovely Rococo sculpture above?

It could be by the same artist! Antonio Corradini was best known for carvings on the last Venetian state barge. Scholars have studied fragments of this lavish ceremonial ship and have been able to attribute a number of side chairs, consoles, tables and a throne to the artist.

Two of Four Armchairs, about 1730-1740, Italian, Venice. J. Paul Getty Museum.
