It is with immense sadness that the Italian Art Society pays tribute to our longtime member Carolyn Wilson, who as scholar and curator shed so much light on Venetian painting as sculpture. Her many important credits include St. Joseph in Italian Renaissance Society and Art (Philadelphia, 2000) and catalogs for the National Gallery of Art and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.
