Thank you to all our members who were able to join us for our virtual RSA reception. Congratulations to Sandra CardarelliCristiana Filippini, and Johanna Heinrichs for winning the night’s awards raffle. This would not have been possible without the incredibly generous support from our members who were able to fund three research/publishing awards. In the coming months, we hope to use this as a model for future events and to continue supporting our members through equity opportunities.

That said, there is still more to come from the IAS! Our next event will be a virtual reception honoring the career of Dr. Dorothy F. Glass at the 56th International Congress on Medieval Studies on Tuesday, May 11th 5:00pm EDT. This will follow three IAS-sponsored sessions, organized by Francesco Gangemi and Alison Locke Perchuk in Dorothy’s honor, entitled Quo vadis? Medieval Italian Sculpture Studies in the New Millenium.

Please note: As per the requirements of ICMS, members need to register for the conference in order to participate in the reception.
To register, please visit: https://wmich.edu/medievalcongress/registration. We look forward to toasting Dr. Glass and ‘virtually’ seeing all of you at Kalamazoo!
