DESCRIPTION:Compton Verney holds one of the richest collections of Neapo
 litan art in the world outside of Naples\, but it is little known and li
 ttle studied.&nbsp\; This event turns the spotlight of scholarship onto 
 the collection in relation to important new research on Naples\, focused
  on issues of colonialism within Europe\, telluric philosophy\, skin and
  surfaces.&nbsp\;Papers will be presented by Helen Hills\, Joris van Gas
 tel\, Letizia Treves\, Josephine Neil and Bogdan Cornea. It is hoped tha
 t gallery visits will be conducted by PhD students from WRoCAH (White Ro
