DESCRIPTION:The 2015 Southern Humanities Council Conference invites prop
 osals for papers on the theme “Virtues and Vices\; Desires\, Devices.�
 �� The topic is interdisciplinary and invites proposals from all discipl
 ines and areas of study\, as well as creative pieces including but not l
 imited to performance\, music\, art\, and literature. (Please note that 
 the name of our organization simply reflects its having been founded in 
 the U.S. south\; no presenter is expected to present anything “souther
 n\,” though southern topics are also welcomed. Conference attendees co
 me from all over the United States and Canada.) Send proposals of 300-50
