Happy Birthday Enzo Cucchi! The Italian painter and sculptor was born on this day in 1950 in Morro d’Alba, near Ancona. Cucchi is known for his large-scale figurative works typically painted with brilliant colors in bold strokes. Exhibitions include a solo show at the Guggenheim Museum in New York (1986), Prima neve (2004), and Second Day at his gallery in Milan.
