Giorgio Andreotta Calò, Roberto Cuoghi, and Adelita Husni-Bey will represent Italy at the 2017 Biennale di Venezia, the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism announced on 14 November.

Cuoghi has created works including sound installations, sculptures, and  mixed-media pieces. Calò is known for minimalist sculpture works. Husni-Bey makes prints, video art, and photographs.

The art exhibition opens in May, while the attendant 15th Biennale Architettura closes on 27 November.
