Scholars of any nationality holding the PhD or equivalent terminal degree are eligible. This grant is for funding of up to $1000, available for use in 2026 to fund or subsidize a research trip or a publication (e.g., for purchasing image rights or as a publication subvention) on any aspect of Italian art and architecture from prehistory to the present. Applicants must be IAS members at the time of application and use of the funds and may not have received an IAS award in the previous two years.
The deadline for the Research and Publication Grant is January 15, 2026.
