Travel Grants

The IAS provides four types of conference travel grants to support graduate students, junior scholars, and international scholars presenting at conferences where the IAS sponsors sessions.


Chair Silvia Bottinelli (2026) leads the Awards Committee that awards travel and research grants to Italian Art Society (IAS) members engaged in the study of Italian art and architecture from prehistory to the present. The current Committee Members are Judith Steinhoff (2025), Emily Fenichel (2026), and Loren Whittaker (2026), and Catharine Wallace (2027).
