In a fantastic instance of artistic conversation between the contemporary and the cinquecento, announced today was the impending installation of Jeff Koons’ monumental sculptural piece, Pluto and Proserpina (2010-2013) in the heart of Florence, adjacent to the replica of Michelangelo’s David (1501-1504) in front of the Palazzo Vecchio .
