Ermanno Rivetti reports in The Art Newspaper that a visitor to the recently closed “Manet: Return to Venice” has filed a complaint that museum authorities damaged the Doge’s Palace by drilling holes in its walls for a climate control system. Museum authorities have defended themselves against what they call a “bizarre accusation.”
