Francesco Vezzoli’s “The Church of Vezzoli,“ meant to be shown at MoMA’s PS1, has run up against cultural patrimony laws in Italy. The church, which has already been dismantled by the artist, now sits in containers at the port of Gioia Tauro and other parts are wrapped in plastic at the original site. Whether Vezzoli will be able to realize his installation remains unclear.
