Celebrating the art of music: longtime Italian film score composer Ennio Morricone won the Oscar for “Best Original Score” for Quentin Tarantino’s film “The Hateful Eight” at last night’s Academy Awards presentation. This recognition is well deserved by the composer, whose career has spanned 6 decades and includes hundreds of movie credits. This is Morricone’s second Oscar, as he was lauded in 2007 with an honorary Academy Award.
