LECTURE AND RECEPTION AT SIXTEENTH CENTURY SOCIETY CONFERENCE, BRUGES

On Friday August 19th, the Groeningemuseum and the Flemish Research Centre for the Arts in the Burgundian Netherlands will host an evening lecture followed by a reception sponsored by the Flemish Research Centre, the Historians of Netherlandish Art, and the Italian Art Society. Schedule of Events: 

17:15 Welcome by Till-Holger Borchert, Director Musea Brugge with a brief introduction of the Flemish Research Centre for the Arts in the Burgundian Netherlands by Vanessa Paumen, Coördinator of the Centre.

17:30 Lecture on Sixteenth-century painters’ workshops and practices in Bruges by Anne Van Oosterwijk, Assistant Curator Old Master Paintings, Groeningemuseum, followed by Q & A.

18:15 Reception.

The museum will remain open and accessible to those who register for this event until 19:30.
