Often commenting on contemporary social and political issues and subverting well known symbols and icons for our urban delectation, Florentine street art is impossibly diverse. On almost every street and canto of the city, viewers are invited to  experience these visual representations of artistic freedom and creativity, whilst questioning the current status quo (perhaps with regard to the socio-political climate, or the complicated relationships between galleries, museums and urban exhibitions).

Constantly adapting and never failing to delight and surprise, Florentine street art is simultaneously communicative, user-friendly and often compelling in its anonymity.
