Travel Grants

The IAS provides three types of conference travel grants to support graduate students, junior scholars, and international scholars presenting at any of the conferences where the IAS sponsors sessions.

We are currently running IAS/Kress Foundation Travel Grants and IAS Conference Travel Grants for Emerging Scholars for travel in 2022. The application deadline for both is December 15, 2021.

The IAS offers two research grants: The IAS Dissertation Research Grant and the IAS Research & Publication Grant. The IAS Dissertation Research Grant is awarded to students who have advanced to candidacy. Eligibility for the IAS Research & Publication Grant is restricted to those who already hold the Ph.D. Each of the awards is for $1000.

We are currently running the Research and Publication Grant and the Dissertation Research Grant for 2022. The application deadline for both is January 10, 2022.
